I should look up some pictures but if I am going to write I better just get on with it. It has been a wonderful summer with many many visits from everyone. We had a family reunion in Aug. at Lagoon. Thank you Kari and Brady for all the planning and great meals. I guess Grandpa and I are in charge of next years reunion. We have some ideas but will entertain any suggestions you might have. We are looking at the weekend after the 24th of July. It's not yet set in stone, what do you think? The tree house is almost done but winter is upon us so I bet the slide won't be up until spring. Sorry kids but hey we are half way there. Grandpa is loving his small engine repair class at SLCC. I told him he is really getting to be worth knowing:) Being at school 6 hours is hard on him physically but he enjoys it so much and is trying to decide if he wants to go next semester. He was going to take a break but he learned they are doing carburetors so he may go. It seems I have been on the run all summer but doing what? I'm not sure. We did put up some pickles, relish and salsa. We worked 2 to 3 nights a week at the temple but we've slowed to our regular Sat. night shift. What a blessing to our lives!! What a beautiful peaceful place to be.

Wow, my cup truly runneth over! What a blessing family is. After a long winter without visits we had Janel, Josh and kids for a wonderful visit. We did so many fun things and most important talking, talking and talking. These are pictures of Valentines dinner with family. Janel's girls loved wrestling with Uncle Brady! The kids wore him out enough he just ended up on the floor. The kids thought that was great because they figured they won. I will have to post the pictures that Jan and others took like swimming, museums, horse back riding, gathering eggs. I will write more then. Right now i have a little one asking me to turn on the bath water and saying are you done yet? Do you think you will be done in 5 more minutes? You can see an other time will lend itself to a more wordy discription of the fun we've had.

I don't know why this page only seems to show part of my blog at a time These are our new baby goats. Maddie is holding one. She was so excited because she was the one that discovered they had been born. We went to the feed store to buy chicks and bought Zach and Maddie each their own chick to have at Grandpas. Zachs is black with a red head and named Rosie. Maddies is marked like a chipmunk and is named Cutie Pie. We've had a fun day at the farm.

Not a high tech granny

You will have to click older posts at least 2 maybe 3 times to see all the pictures. I forgot to mention the private Christmas concert performed for us by Shane and Zach. It was great.

CHRISTMAS FUN!!!

I can't believe it's over again. I was thinking I wouldn't bother putting up a tree this year because we were planning on being gone and didn't think anyone else would see it. Sharmon and kids came up and that changed my mind they put up the tree for me and again I didn't think to take pictures until it was tiem to take it down. Kari and Brady and boys came the next weekend so it waas worth the work of taking it down. Kari a nd Brady had a white knuckle drive home in the snow. I can't believe how much snow we have had this year. It appears it will be a long cold Jan. I ordered some solar Christmas lights to try and I am going to buy more next year. There is no high electric bill and they turn off and on by themselves. I will only touch on some of the special moments this Christmas. Being with family is what makes every Christmas special. We flew down to Shane and Tonya's the Wed before Christmas and stayed to the 28th. Smooth flights both ways. I hadn't been feeling much in the Christmas spirit until I recieved emails from Zach and Maddie telling us how excited they were to have us come. Knowing all the kids were excited for these two old foggys to come really gave me the happy butterflys. How much fun can two old geezers be? Must be that they just love us. We only wish we could be in 4 places at the same time, because we missed the rest of you!!!! Thank you all, for the gifts we loved them all. One of the greatest things about every single one is that we know they were chosen and given with love. We had a great time. Shane has a great video of Tonya and the kids ice skating on Christmas eve. Kaleigh had to work so we stopped in to see her on the way to las Vegas Lake and had hot chocolate. We had such fun and went to dinner after where they served the best fish and chips ever. Once again I forgot the camara so bug Shane and Tonya to post their pictures. Kaleigh was going to come over at 5:30 Christmas but was sick so didn't get over until afternoon. It was fun to once again see kids get up on Christmas morning. Santa even left Grandpa and I filled socks--what fun! On my birthday we went to the temple and then out for more good dining. Kaleigh joined us for dinner so we had another nice visit with her. In between we went shopping, played lots of games watched movies and visited and visited. No matter how much we talked it is never enough. Tonya made her White Chili one night, it's in the cook book. We can highly recomend you try it! Sunday brought another special day seeing Shane sitting on the stand, hearing Conner bless the sacrament and seeing Zach pass the sacrament. Below are some of pictures that I did think to take. The Christmas tree is ours. The pink toes are mine. After that I am sure you will tell whats what. I don't think all of them show up unless you click older blogs. I will have to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm not checking spelling or type errors so enjoy anyway.
