BUSY BUSY BUSY

"I'm busy doing nothing busy the whole day through, trying to find lots of things not to do. I'm busy going nowhere, isn't it just a crime. I'd like to be unhappy but I never do have the time." The words to that song do not fit my day today. I went with Heidi this morning for our daily work out at 7 AM. I came home and went to Costco with Dad, helped him put a shelf in the storage room, organized a little down there, sorted the clothes ( Dad washed and dried and I folded and put away) , cleaned the kitchen and met with the other den leader to plan Aprils agenda, By then it was 4:00 and the cub scouts started arriving. I think I am getting too old for this job!! We went on a field trip to the radio station just around the corner.( next to Not Just Copies) It is a good thing it was so close or I may have been in trouble The news would have had a story about 5 nine year olds being left in the middle of no where or worse. Two of the worst move out in April and May to the Weblos. Can't say as I'm sorry. Actually they are cute little boys but today they drove me up the wall while I was driving them. When I got back I had just enough time to get a dessert ready to take to the Heaps. The rolls were baked by "Uncle Costco." Ruth Berret made the soup. For those who remember Nicole, she fell down the basement stairs and broke both of her wrists. She had surgery done on one of them today. We figured Evelyn could use a break from cooking after being at the surgical center most of the day. Dad is at the temple tonight so I finally have a few minutes to just sit, or I could read, nap, finish the laundry, sew, figure out the software for my machine, watch a movie or tv show of my choice or just veg and stare at the wall. I think I'll opt for the last. I must be getting old. I'm looking forward to having you all here this weekend (sorry Janel wish you could come too.) Love, you all

Little Angels

HELLLLP!!!!! I'M GETTING WORSE AT THIS. SOMEONE NEEDS TO GIVE ME MORE LESSONS ON BLOGGING AND I NEED TO WRITE DOWN THE INSTRUCTIONS. I HAVE THIS LARGE GAP BETWEEN THINGS-ICAN'T REMEMBER HOW TO MOVE THINGS AROUND OR PUT TITLES UNDER PICTURES. THE WORDS AT THE BOTTOM WERE SUPPOSE TO BE BEFORE THE PICTURES. ONE IS A PICTURE OF GRANDMAS KITCHEN I JUST THREW THAT IN FOR YOU KIDS. THE SWIMMING POOL IS SORT OF A FIND WALDO BUT ITS FIND A FAMILY MEMBER. MAYBE I'M JUST TOO OLD TO STAY UP THIS LATE AND EXPECT MY BRAIN TO FUNCTION.

Well here goes ---I was feeling guilty because I hadn't written and all of you had updated your blogs more recently. I'm quite tired and should be in bed getting my beauty sleep. I'll be sorry in the morning. Guilt does funny things to you. Dad GETS to work tomorrow. He is so excited! He is making us two corner hutches. I should say we are making--I'm the well trained official gopher and sander. We only have one more class so tomorrow after the kids go Dave can catch us up a bit. I guess I'll have to take a nap because I'm still up. Heidi will be here honking at 7:00 We have to go 30 min. earlier because she is working part time. Dad is serving in the temple 3 nights a week. I'm going to pick up Thursday nights starting this week. I've been cleaning out the computer cupboards and organizing pictures. So to brighten up this blog I'm putting in some pictures from the past. You may recognize some of these folks--It may be too easy so I'll have to go back further next time.

WOW! Is this a good looking kid or what? We are so proud of you Conner!!!! We are proud of you not only for all the hard work you did, and not only because you are so darn good looking, but because of the kind of person you are inside. No one could ask for a better grandson. Shane, Tonya and family came up to tour the new Draper Temple. Dave and I rode back home with them on Monday and flew home on Thursday. The reason was Conner had his Eagle court of honor while we were there. I can't begin to describe how great that was. Sharmon, Paul and family were also there. Everyone had such a good time! I'm such a dud when it comes to taking pictures. Don't ask me how with that fancy camera Grandpa bought me I could mess up and only have a few of the pictures I did take turn out. (Hey, at least everyone still has their heads.) I have to rely on all of you to share the pictures you took. One of the things I did was visit Maddie's school. That is where Tonya got her ammunition for her blog. We laughed so hard at that picture. Hey, what she doesn't know is that she could have got alot in blackmail for it. (too late now) :) As I said before we flew home on Thursday and the following Mon. Janel and Julia flew in. Josh WHAT A GOOD MAN YOU ARE! THANK YOU FOR SENDING JAN OUT TO VISIT!!! We had such a good time. I didn't get to bed 'til 2:00 AM the whole week. We went for 2 nights to visit Sharmon and Kari. Kari and family came up that weekend. The weather cooperated and gave us warm spring like days. It has been too quiet around here this week. I will post a couple of pictures that turned out and more when all of you share the ones you took. ( OK Kari I did it. I blogged no more harrasment, ok :) ) Actually I really do need a nudge once in awhile.
