As most of you know , it has been such a long 6 mo. with many miracles. Dave has fought cancer and for now has won. Large b cell Lymphoma almost took his life in Dec. just before Christmas. It attacked his stomach and liver. He had a clean pet scan in Sept. (for another problem) and there was no cancer. By Dec. we almost lost him. If we had waited three more days, he wouldn't have lasted 3 more weeks. That is another miracle, a tech doing the last test to see if he was healthy enough for chemo told us to contact the Dr. that day as Dave was so yellow. So we went that day. He had gone down hill so fast just in that week. They put him right in the hospital and did his first chemo that night. He had 6 chemos one every 3 weeks the last one being the last day of Mar. We were told his responding that fast is a miracle. I am borrowing Janines motto, " we not only believe in miracles we rely on them" Priesthood blessings, prayers from everyone, temple prayers, fasting and prayers from family, friends and ward family gave us strength and The Lord gave us the miracles. It would take so much time to list all the people that have given us service and visited and cheered us all this long time. I'm sure I would leave someone out if I tried. It is humbling to have so many people show they care in so many ways. Dave is very very slowly getting strength back. He is looking forward to getting back to serving in the temple. It really brought home that we are not in charge, that Heavenly Father loves us and helps us through all trials. Kari gave me a tile that says "todays trial, tomorrows testemony. Very True. I don't know what we would have done without the family!!! Your love, help and support means everything. Thank you --Thank you!! One call and you were here--all of you, as soon as you could come. Trials are hard but oh, the love we have felt, the lessons we have learned, no way else could we have had these things. When we didn't know if Dave would live or die the Lord gave us the peaceful feeling that all would be ok what ever. Now we thank him every day for one more day together and pray for many more healthy ones
