SPRING SPRING SPRING
I CAN'T BELIEVE SPRING IS HERE---FINALLY! WOULDN'T YOU JUST LOVE TO TAKE A GOOD BOOK OUT TO THE HAMMACK OR CLIMB ONTO THE TREE HOUSE AND SPEND THE AFTERNOON? IT SEEMS YOU CAN FIND THE SILVER LINING IN MOST CLOUDS AND THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE ALSO. WITH THE BEAUTIFUL BLOSSEMS COMES THE HAYFEVER!! TODAY GRANDPA AND I PLANTED ARTICHOKES AND PURPLE POTATOES. THE PEAS, BEETS, "PURPLE CARROTS", AND RADISHES ARE UP. i NEED TO GO PLANT GRASS UNDER THE APRICOT TREES IN THE FRONT BEFORE IT RAINS THIS AFTERNOON BUT THERE ARE TWO OVERLY FRIENDLY ROBINS THAT COME EVERYTIME I RAKE AND I'M SURE THEY WOULD LOVE A LAWN SEED DESERT TO GO WITH THE ROLY POLY BUGS AND WORMS. THE LAST NUMBER OF YEARS WE HAVE HAD A MALLARD DUCK AND HIS MATE HERE IN THE SPRING. THIS ONE IS SOME KIND OF MUTANT, I THINK. INSTEAD OF JUST A WHITE RING AROUND HIS THROAT HE HAS A BIB. I THOUGHT SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED TO HIS MATE BECAUSE HE WAS ALL ALONE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT THIS MORNING SHE WAS THERE FOR A VERY SHORT TIME. DAD SAID SHE IS PROBABLY SITTING ON EGGS. THE PICTURE ISN'T TOO CLEAR AS I TOOK IT THROUGH THE KITCHEN WINDOW. I HOPE IF THEY HAVE EEGS THE RACOONS OR FOX WON'T GET THEM. I DON'T RMEMBER RACOONS BEING HERE SO MUCH WHEN YOU KIDS WERE LITTLE BUT MAYBE THE BUILDING IN THE RIVER BOTTOM HAS CAUSED THEM TO MOVE THIS WAY. WE DON'T SEE THEM BUT THEY ARE GETTING INTO PULTRY AROUND HERE. SHARMON TELLS ME THE INFECTIOUS DESEASE DR. SAID HE THINKS CASSIDY PROBABLY HAS PSAP AND NOT CYCLIC NEUOPENIA(I'M NOT SURE THE LAST IS SPELLED RIGHT BUT PROVE ME WRONG IF YOU CAN." HEY AT LEAST ITS NOT IN CODE LIKE J'S POST. NATE TELLS ME HE IS PLAYING FIRST BASE IN HIS BASEBALL GAMES. I THOUGHT I'D PASS ALONG THAT NEWS AS SHARMON DOESN'T HAVE A BLOG--(YET?) I'M GUESSING JAMIE AND ZACH WILL HAVE MORE TO SAY ONCE SCHOOL IS OUT ABOUT THEIR FAMILY. TONYA AND SHANE ---WELL, I'M NOT SURE WHAT THEIR EXCUSE IS EXCEPT THEY DON'T WANT ANYONE TO MISS THAT GORGEOUS PHOTO POSTED A MONTH AGO. BY THE WAY I WILL SOON HAVE PAYED MY 20 VISITS TO THE DOLLAR STORE TO GET IT OFF:) MY VISITING TEACHERS WILL BE HERE SOON SO, SO LONG TILL NEXT TIME.

CAT IN THE LAP LAW REPEATS
Well, I thought I had got away with only one jury call for the duration as April is almost over. I should have known better. I have to report for jury duty on the 28th. I hope I don't get chosen as a trial could go on for 3 weeks or more. I'm not as stressed out about going this time as I know where and how to get there. Tonya, pray I don't get chosen and have to be on jury duty when you are coming. Oh, in case I forget to tell you when we talk, that book you thought you had, The Faith of Phebe, it was on my shelf. Don't keep looking for it. For everyone else, will you let me know what books I've loaned you. I'm not in a hurry to get any of them back I just decided I should keep track of who has what. While I'm on the subject of books would all of you send me a list of good books to read. Most of you at one time or another have told me of a good book but when I am at the book store I can't remember any of them. I think I'll make a list and put it in my wallet. I have some book money left on my gift card and it's burning a hole in my pocket. The tulips are up (peeking through the snow most of the time.) Madzee goat is enjoying the sunshine today and bouncing around the pasture. He is a funny little thing with one ear that is straight and one that is lopped over. I'll go charge my camara and take a picture one of these first days. He's a little goofy looking. Paul tells me they have lost a baby goat and lamb to roving dogs. Peoples dogs running loose always makes me angry!!!! Sounds like all of you have had sickness. Sharmon, Tonya, Kari and Janel who did I miss? Your names are in the temple and we pray for you to soon feel well again.

blogging again
Wow, we just had our computer fixed--just in time. I was having blogging withdrawels. Our good friend Robert came down to see what was going on with the computer. We couldn't access the blogs or pictures in email. I guess the main problem was the modem just needed to be rebooted. It was something simple but of course I would never have found it. He also fixed some other things that weren't really interfering with anything. He of course talks at times in an other language, like gigabytes, megabytes and more. So now that I'm back I'll have to come up with something "good" soon so stand by.
